Patricia Dyer

Patricia Dyer, 84, of Kissimmee FL and formerly of Byesville, passed away Monday (January 19, 2026) at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, Kissimmee FL.
Patricia, born October 2, 1941, in Byesville, Ohio, was the youngest of eight children born to John and Martha Syme, who preceded her in death.
On July 22, 1961, Patricia married the love of her life, Carl Dyer. Together they shared 64 years of marriage devoted to faith, family, and service to others.
Patricia’s greatest joy was her family, which was always her first priority. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who spent countless hours caring for her family and being present whenever she was needed.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Carl Dyer; her two children, Carla (Jon) Reed and Chris (Ellie) Dyer; eight grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Patricia was a devoted member of Victory Church in Lakeland, Florida, where she faithfully served for many years. Her commitment to service continued after retirement, when she and Carl spent seven years traveling across the country in their RV, helping to build churches, youth centers, and colleges and universities.
After their travels, Patricia and Carl made their home in Florida, where she treasured time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday (January 26, 2026) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene (533 Jefferson Avenue, Cambridge), where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, is handling arrangements.
