Patricia L. Ross (February 14, 1928 – June 28, 2010)

Patricia L. Ross, 82, of Philo, passed away at 8:56 pm Monday June 28, 2010 at Genesis Hospice, Morrison House after an extended illness.

Patricia was born February 14, 1928 in Newark, the daughter of the late Roy and Bess (Litzinger) Siegle. She was the secretary and book-keeper for Western Southern Life Insurance Company. She also worked for Ross Motor Sales and Ross Used Cars and she was active with the Girls Scouts for over 55 years. She was a 1945 Graduate of Newark High School and a member of the St. Johns Lutheran Church of Philo where she served as treasurer since 1982.

Patricia is survived by her son Mark Ross of Philo, her daughter Kelley (Kevin) Komaromy of Philo; her step daughters Kay Hiett of Zanesville and Pat(Charles) Pfabe of Steubenville; her grandchildren Kimberly (Casey) Lynch, Kyle Komaromy and Shannon Ross and 2 step grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Dale E. Ross who passed away in 1994, her step-son Robert Ross, her sister Ruth Smith and a step-grandson Chris Hiett.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Thursday, July 1st 2010, at the Thompson-Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 1 pm Friday with Pastor Stephen Harrop officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery.
