Pauline L. Butler (April 22, 1920 – December 16, 2011)

Pauline L. Butler, 91 of Zanesville passed away peacefully on December 16, 2011 at Autumn Health Care. She was a lifelong resident of Zanesville, born April 22, 1920,the daughter of the late Carl Rittberger Sr. and Lilly Greiner Rittberger.

She retired from the Carl Rittberger Sr. Meats Inc. where she held several positions including Corporate Secretary, Office Manager, Financial Advisor and Treasurer, She was an active lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was part of the Voters Assembly, Church Council, Ruth Guild, Alter Guild, she was an organist and sang in the choir.

Pauline is survived by several nieces and nephews including Colleen Smith and George Rittberger Jr. and their families.

In addition to her parents Pauline is preceded in death by her husband Roy Butler Jr. who died in 1990, Brothers: George Rittberger Sr., Carl C. Rittberger, Harry F. Rittberger, Walter A. Rittberger, Sisters: Emma Becker, Carrie Rittberger, and Julia Rittberger.

The Family is being served by the BRYAN & SNIDER FUNERAL HOME 2318 Maple Ave. where friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2011. Funeral Service will be Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church 128 South 7th Street in Zanesville at 12 p.m. Rev. Mark Matzke will officiate, visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Committal service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Columbus, Ohio; Rev. Larry R. Kudart will officiate.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial contributions be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care.
