Peggy Zaleski

Peggy Jean Zaleski passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 5, 2026. She was born on October 13, 1942 to Raymond and Prudie Markin in Ft. Wayne, IN.
Peggy married the love of her life, Joseph Zaleski on February 17, 1962, and they shared 64 wonderful years together.
Peggy had a great passion for Girl Scouts and she was involved in several levels of Girl Scouting for over 50 years. She enjoyed family trips to Myrtle Beach, many trips with her husband to Port Clinton and visiting the lighthouses in many states, and had a love of watching General Hospital.
She leaves behind her husband Joseph, daughter Margaret Zaleski, sons Joe Zaleski, Mike (Lisa) Zaleski and Ron (Loretta Dettmann) Zaleski, her grandchildren Ross (Carissa) Taylor, Patrick (Dawn) Taylor, Shelby (Devin) Fitzgerald, Jessi (Drew) Dickerson, Erica (Ty) Dorman, Rebekah Zaleski and Jordan Zaleski who took such wonderful care of her Granny, great grandchildren Amelia and Alex Taylor, Reagan and Logan Taylor, Zoey and Mia Fitzgerald, and Riley, Kinsley and Avery Dickerson. She also leaves behind her former daughter-in-law Valerie Zaleski, her dearest friends Ron and Judy Trahan and Georgianna Long, and her nephews Doug and Michael Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Gary Clark and her infant granddaughter Olivia Liann Zaleski.
The family wishes to thank Hospice of Guernsey, especially Julie and Desiree, and family friend Shelly Long for their care and support.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 11am to 1pm with services to begin at 1pm. Pastors Frederick Osei Manu, Jerry Harding and Wib Bragg will officiate.
