Perry County Drug Indictments

The Perry County Grand Jury has indicted nine people on felony drug offenses.

Darrell Hook Senior and Merri Lei Rienschield both of Junction City are charged with two counts of distributing dangerous drugs.

Authorities say in September of 2010 undercover detectives met with the couple at their Iron Street home and purchased prescription drugs from them.

32-year-old Jennifer Holden of New Lexington is charged with trafficking in prescription drugs with a juvenile specification.

The charge stems from an incident back in February where authorities say she sold prescription drugs to an undercover informant at her Highland Drive residence.

57-year-old John Clark of New Lexington is charged with illegal possession of Hydrocodone and Clonazepam.

He was arrested in February after agents seized illegal prescription drugs from his home on Harrison Street.

Todd and Tamera Ellis of New Straitsville along with Andrea Kennison of Howard were also indicted.

Authorities say in February detectives arrested all three in connection with an investigation into the sale of heroin in the New Straitsville area.

Two other New Lexington residents were indicted by the Perry County Grand Jury, 30 year old Anthony Foster is facing several charges including illegal manufacturing of drugs and 40-year-old Johnny Yarger is charged with trafficking in marijuana with a school specification.
