Perry County Election Results
Perry County voters went to the polls Tuesday to vote for a county commissioner.
Voters chose republican Scott Owen over democrat Todd Shafer. Owen led Safer 7,552 votes to 3,745.
Voters also chose republican Drew Cannon as the auditor over democrat Teresa Stevenson.
Taking a look at some of the issues on the ballot in Perry County.
The Perry County Senior Citizens levy .5mills/5yrs passed 7,500 to 3,754.
The Village of Junction current expenses levy 2.2mills for 5 years also passed.
The Village of Corning passed two levies one for current operating expenses and another renewal levy for 5 mills for 5 years.
Voters failed to pass the unincorporated electric aggregation.
The Village of Glenford passed their levy for 2.3mills for 5 years 36 to 18.
