Perry County Fair features classic and unique Fair Foods
NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio- If you are looking for some classic fair food the Perry County Fair has you covered.
From Corn Dogs to Cotton Candy you can get it all and a unique stand even features Bob Evans’ sausage. The Junction City United Methodist Church has been at the Perry County Fair for 10 years now and serve breakfast every morning at 7 am. Along with sausage, worker Susanne Brown, said they serve a wide variety of food throughout the day.
“They like the French toast, pancakes, we have what we call the big breakfast, it’s the pancakes, sausage, eggs, also then you order French toast, we have French fries. We have hash browns. We have smokies which is a nice big sausage and hot dogs.”
And if you are looking for something to quench your thirst you don’t have to look far for a drink. Lemon Shakeups offers unique flavors of strawberry and blue raspberry lemonade as well as sweet tea.
“Its different from your regular lemonade it’s not just powder mix we use real lemons and its fun because we get to stand in here and shake them and have fun. It’s the whole point of having fun at the fair. Why go to the fair and be boring.” said worker Courtney Shumaker.
Admission is 10 dollars and the Perry County Fair remains open through July 22nd.
