Perry County Fair Returns for 72nd Year

NEW LEXINGOTN, OH – The gates have officially swung open at the Perry County Fair!

This week, the fairgrounds along State Route 37 West are buzzing with excitement as the 72nd edition of this beloved summer tradition rolls on through Saturday, July 19th.

“There’s a whole bunch going on. The derby just happened last night, so that’s over unfortunately. But there’s the tractor pulls coming up, there’s cattle show over in the big barn. That’s really awesome to see. The time and work that all the kids that walk around here all day put into that, it’s huge. I love seeing it,” Game Operator Noah PriBonic said.

There’s plenty to enjoy from classic games and thrilling rides to livestock shows and all the delicious fair food you can handle.

“You can enjoy this good fair food, nice greasy fair food, and watch your kids enjoy the awesome fair rides,” Livestock Exhibitor Ella Thomas said.

Admission is $15, covering both entry and unlimited rides each day. Rides operate daily from noon to 5, and again from 6 to 11 P.M.

“I think families should come to the fair because it’s something local that they can do that involves their family and they can spend the day together,” Game Operator Mike Ray said.

To plan your visit, check out the full event schedule, livestock shows, and more on the official Perry County Fairgrounds website.
