Columbus, Ohio – The Ohio Emergency Management Agency (EMA) announced in a press release that it will reduce the operating hours of Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC). The new operating hours will start on Wednesday, Oct. 14.

The Perry County DRC is in the William H. Barker Community Center at 13047 Karl Brown Road in Roseville. The DRC will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

After these changes, anyone with questions about assistance or low-interest disaster loans may call FEMA’s help line at 800-621-3362 or visit DisasterAssistance.Gov. You can also submit applications online at DisasterAssistance.gov by Dec. 1.

The Ohio EMA says approximately 228 residents and business owners have visited the three temporary DRCs for assistance, guidance, and program information in Ohio since they opened on Oct. 7.

The other DRC’s in Ohio are also reducing operating hours with the Hamilton County DRC closing permanently on Oct. 16. The remaining DRC’s will remain open until Nov. 1.
