Pet of the Week
This week’s pet of the week is a three-year-old cat named Tiger.
Tiger is good with other cats, is up to date on shots, has already been neutered and has a reduced adoption fee of $60. He would make the perfect family cat and is looking for his forever home. Executive Director Jody Murray says Tiger would fit in to just about any family.
"He’s ready to go, if someone’s interested they can come in, play with him in our playroom that we have for our cats and he’s a good cat."
The Animal Shelter is also hosting their annual action on October 25 at Eagle Sticks. Doors will open at 5 P.M., and the auction begins at 6 P.M. Eagle sticks will be providing dinner and there will also be a number of items up for action including Ohio State football tickets and sports memorabilia.
"It’s our major fundraiser for the shelter, we’re a private nonprofit so this is our one time that we go out and try to have a big event and hope that the community comes out and helps us."
The auction is open to the public and tickets are still available for only $25.
