Pet of the week

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- It’s now time for this week’s pet of the week.

This cat’s name is Bubbles, and she has been at the Animal Shelter Society since July first.  Bubbles is a Maine Coon mix. She was a stray, and she’s about eight months old. Her adoption fee is $60.

“Kind of a unique color on her,” said Executive director Jody Murray. “If you look at her she has almost every color of the rainbow, a very pretty cat.”

Next Thursday, July 27th, the animal shelter has its final Summer Night’s event Thursday. Cone Ice will be there as well as a local children’s author.

“It’s from five until seven, come out and walk dogs, have some Cone Ice, and just have a good time.”

The name your price event for all cat adoptions at the shelter will take place 10AM to 4PM tomorrow.
