Pet of the Week

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County Animal Shelter Society wants to introduce Boo Boo.

Boo Boo is our loving Pet of the Week. She recently was surrendered by her previous owners to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter Society with her eight puppies. Assistant Director, Charity Stevens said she and her puppies spent four weeks in a foster home and now she’s ready for a forever home.

“So she’s already been experienced with the home life inside of the house and she minded her manners,” Stevens said. “They fell in love and it was really hard decision to bring her back, but with fostering you always want to make sure you have room for the next one.”

Boo Boo is a two-year old American Staffy Mix who has already had her shots, and will be spayed once she fully heals from giving birth. Her adoption fee is $115.00 and $10.75 for her dog license.

“She was a great mama, all her puppies have been adopted I believe, I think we may have two left,” Stevens said. “So she’s now looking for her home. She was in a foster home with kids and did great, other dogs she does fine. She’s just looking for that special someone.”
