Pet of the week: Five-year-old Boe

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- It’s time for the pet of the week.

The shelter is featuring a five-year- old beagle mix named Boe. He was an owner surrender, has already gotten his surgeries, and is up to date with his shots. You can take him home for $125 plus the cost of his dog tag.

“He gets along great with other dogs,” Animal Shelter, Executive Director Jody Murray said. “We had him out last night at an event with another little dog. They acted like they’ve been best buddies forever. He spent about 2 hours at an event with about 100 people. Did great. Everybody liked him.”

Mark your calendar for December 3rd. The animal shelter will host their annual open house.

“Starts at 10 o clock. [We’re] going to have some giveaways. We have a raffle of a stationary bike. We’re going to have our 31 days of Christmas gift bag for the first 31 adults that come through. Just a lot of fun things that day,” Murray said.
