Pet of the Week: Bella

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A furry friend is waiting at the Animal Shelter for you to give her a home.
Meet today’s pet of the week, Bella. Bella is a six-month-old domestic, short-haired kitten. She came to the shelter as a stray, but is ready to complete your family. The shelter says Bella will do well in any home that has the means to raise a small kitten.
“I think at her age, six months, in her disposition right now she would be excellent for anybody that was looking for a young kitten. As you can see she’s very comfortable being held. She’s good around people. Does well with other animals.”
Bella seems to be friendly with other animals, but the shelter encourages potential owners to bring the whole family and any pets to meet her before taking her home.
The shelter is also ready for its annual Paws and Claws Benefit tomorrow at OUZ Zane State College. The benefit will feature both a live and silent auction, dinner, and raffle tickets.
“Lot of great items. Some Ohio State Buckeye items. We have an Ezekiel Elliott jersey donated by John and April Gibson. Also, along with that is a mini helmet that is signed by Ezekiel Elliott.”
And it’s not too late to attend if you don’t already have tickets.
“If you don’t have your tickets we have very limited numbers of tickets left. There will be a few available at the door, but I would certainly recommend you be there at five o’clock if you don’t have your tickets yet.”
Bella is up to date on her vaccines and has already had her surgery. Her adoption fee is $60. If you want to make Bella a part of your family or want more information on the benefit, you should contact the Animal Shelter.
