Pet of the Week to be featured at “Dogs and Donuts”

Pet Of The Week

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A local business is hosting a “Dogs & Donuts” pet adoption event and the “Pet of the Week” is the star attraction.

Lola is a 3 month old Beagle mix who is full of energy. Lola was surrendered to the Animal Shelter after her owner experienced health issues and could no longer care for her. The pup is up to date on all of her shots and has already had her surgeries. Jody Murray said Lola is ready to join a new family and play a few rounds of fetch.

“If you’re looking for a smaller very, very friendly dog, something that’s..again, we’ve had her out for quite a while this morning just playing with her and she knows her name. If you call her name she comes right back to you. Loves playing with toys. Would just be a ball of energy for someone’s new family.”

“Dogs & Donuts” will take place at Car Nation on Maple on Saturday, November 18th. That’s where Lola will be looking for her furever home. Co-Owner David Wagner said the event is one of their favorites to do and they enjoy supporting the Animal Shelter.

“Any car that we sell we’re going to donate $150 back to the Animal Shelter. We’re just super excited about the event.tomorrow.”
If you are interested in Lola you will have to visit Car Nation Saturday at 10 a.m. Lola’s adoption fee is $135 and she will be microchipped at the time of adoption. And if you’re on the market for a new car you can visit www.zanesvillecars.com to check out Car Nation’s inventory before showing up.
