Pet of the week: One year old Indy

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- It’s Friday and that means it’s time for the pet of the week.
The animal shelter has selected one year old short hair cat named Indy as this week’s featured animal. Executive Director, Jody Murray said Indy has been at the shelter for a few months and is an owner surrender. Murray described Indy as a very nice cat that gets along with people and other animals.
“His adoption fee is $35,” Murray said. “He has already has his surgery, he will be microchip, and he’s up to date on all of his vaccinations. So for $35 he’ll be ready to go home and be a part of somebody’s family.”
Murray wanted people to be aware of the cancellation of their craft bazaar that was scheduled for Saturday.
“Due to some unforeseen circumstances. If you were planning to attend that it won’t be happening tomorrow. We have been in contact with all of our vendors to let them know,” Murray said.
If you would like to take Indy home, stop by the animal shelter located at 1430 on Newark Road.
