Philo Man in Hospital After Accident

A 22-year-old Philo man is in the hospital after an accident shortly after midnight Monday morning.

According to the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, Matthew Arno was driving on Back Run Road in Harrison Township when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree.

Arno was taken to Good Samaritan hospital and later transported to a Columbus area hospital where troopers say his condition is currently unknown.

The accident remains under investigation and we’ll have more details as they become available.
