Phyllis Bishop

Phyllis Joan Bishop, 84 of Zanesville died peacefully at her home on Friday afternoon May 24, 2024 following a brief illness.

She was born April 4, 1940 in Cambridge Ohio the daughter of Wilbert ” Red ” Bishop and Florence Delores (Bennett) Bishop.

Phyllis was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, was employed as a secretary with Bethesda Hospital, retiring from Genesis Health Care after many years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics & reading.

She is survived by her two close friends Georgianna Cooper & Brenda Lemmon as well as several cousins.

Phyllis was preceded in death by Her parents and an infant brother, Francis Lee Bishop.

A graveside with Celebrant Saleen Hail officiating. Burial will conclude on June 7, 2024 at 1:00 P.M at the St. Paul’s Cemetery, 50193 Twp. Rd 146, Franklin Twp., Coshocton OH 43812.
