Pizzeria Turns 41 Years Old

One local pizzeria is marking its 41st birthday this week.

All four Domino’s pizza locations in Zanesville are celebrating all week long. But if you were in Zanesville today, you just had to look to the sky to see how serious they really were about blowing out the candles.

"We brought in an aerial banner and were having it flown around today just to make sure that everybody understands that Domino’s is still here at 41 years old and strong," says Maysville Pike Domino’s owner Tedd Murphy.

All four Domino’s locations are running a week long special where you can get a large pizza with up to five toppings for 8.99. But Domino’s says their focus is more than just running great deals.

"We donate to every charity there is. The schools, the churches, were very giving and we like to support the community that supports us," says Murphy.

The nationwide chain will celebrate its corporate birthday next week. The company will be 50 years old.
