Player of The Week
P.O.T.W

The first player of the week is on Highway 103 where the Maysville Panthers were at home taking on the Meadowbrook Colts. The Panthers made sure to leave no doubt on the floor jumping out to a 24-10 lead in the second quarter. The game would continue to in the Panthers way lead by their usual cast of players, but it was Maysville’s Kane Roehrig standing out in this one. He was all over the floor with 7 points, adding 8 rebounds, and then making a defensive stand in the paint with 4 blocks in the huge win over Meadowbrook.
Sliding over to Z92 the Tri-Valley Scotties made their way to the Power Plant this past friday in what many thought could be a look ahead game as they got ready for the Maysville Panthers this Tuesday night. But the Electrics made sure to give the Dogs all they could handle in this one and even in a losing effort Philo’s Carter Crabtree takes home the player of the week honors for a huge performance. In the match up Crabtree was on fire with 6 3-pointers made to keep the Electrics in the game and within striking distance. In the end it would be a 13 point loss to Tri-Valley he was one three shy of the school record.
And last on AM1240 the Zanesville Blue Devils celebrated their senior night against Licking Valley and in this game it was the junior Jordan Cooley making a nice impact on the floor dropping in 11 points with 3-3pointers as the Blue Devils tried to get one last win on their home floor. They would come up just short in a 7 point loss to Licking Valley as they get ready to hit the road for 3 straight games to cap off the season.
