Players of the Week – Week 8 Football

Brought to you by "City Tire Pros"

ZANESVILLE, OH

It really is hard to believe that we’re two months into the high school football season, and with just two weeks to go in the regular season, we look at our top players from an exciting week eight of action!

Now, the result might not have gone Zanesville’s way on AM 1240 against Watkins in the LCL, but Maddox Mohler has been a model of consistency all year long for the Blue Devils, emerging as a leader despite only being a sophomore, as he continues to grow and improve for T.J. Carper’s squad.

Over on Highway 103, Coshocton picked up its first win of the season over Crooksville, and plenty of players contributed to the victory, including Champ Haley. He was a force on both sides of the ball, rushing for 125 yards, as well as reeling in a “pick six” in the 45-29 win.

Then from our “Community Bank” game of the week, which also aired on Z92, Tri-Valley improved to 8-0 with a dominant win over Philo. Keaton Hahn had five catches for 116 yards, highlighted by a 43-yard snag in the 35-7 win, and Tri-Valley will look to remain perfect in a highly anticipated showdown in week nine against Sheridan.

Congratulations to all of those honored.
