Police I-D Z-ville Woman Found Dead In Motel

Zanesville Police have released the name of the woman found dead in a downtown Zanesville motel. Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says 33-year-old Angela Calendine of Zanesville was found in room 103 of the Econo Lodge on 7th street around 4:15 Thursday afternoon. Detective Roush says no foul play was observed, but a significant amount of illegal drugs were found in the victim’s room as well as drug paraphernalia and bath salts. At the same time police stopped a car near the intersection of 6th and Main Streets that was thought to have been at the motel moments earlier. Roush says illegal drugs and a large amount of cash were found in the vehicle. Investigators say two people from the vehicle are now facing drug charges. Two people from the motel were questioned as well. Roush says officers are now waiting for results of an autopsy which will be performed Friday at the Licking County Coroner’s Office.
