Police Searching for Breaking & Entering Suspect

The Heath Police Department needs the public’s help identifying a man who attempted to steal firearms from the Rural King.

Police said on Sunday, April 15 they responded to the Rural King at 2:30a.m. on Central Parkway to investigate an intrusion alarm.

When officers arrived they found the front door of the business had been forced open. The suspect fled before police arrived.

Surveillance footage shows the suspect entering the store prior to the business closing then concealing himself in the store.

Around midnight the suspect reappears in the store and attempts to steal firearms secured in a display.

The suspect was unable to get past security measures and fled. The suspect is a white male, wearing blue jeans, a grey hoodie and wearing white and black Puma shoes.
