Port Authority Is Looking to Lease Farm Land

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Â The Zanesville-Muskingum County Port Authority is looking to lease excess acreage land for farming.
The land is located at 3 separate locations. Eastpointe business park, airport industrial park, and northpointe business park.
“It’s been done in the past. Agriculture is still an economic driver in this community. We have great value in that. We have over 200 acres of property at the Airport, Northpointe, and Eastpointe business parks that will be up for bid. For lease for crop or hay,” said Executive Director Matt Abbott.
Anyone interested should submit a written bid detailing your price. Each location should be bid on separately. Eastpointe has over 11 hundred acres, Airport has over 19 acres, and Northpointe has 70 acres.
“Interested parties can contact our office for more details. We’re looking for bids by February 15th of this year,” said Abbot.
