Portersville Man Charged in Fatal Stabbing

A Portersville man has been charged in connection with a fatal Morgan County stabbing.  Prosecutor Mark Howdyshell says 50-year-old Thomas Pace is charged with murder in connection with the stabbing death of 33-year-old Dustin Drone of Malta on Saturday November 5th.  Sheriff Tom Jenkins says the incident happened around 9 p.m. and Drone was found lying beside a driveway unresponsive.  Emergency responders determined that Drone died of an apparent stab wound.  Prosecutor Howdyshell says the case will be presented to a grand jury next Friday. A motive has not yet been determined.The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office says Pace is out of custody on $100,000 bond and remains under house arrest.
