Post Holiday Shopping at the Colony Square Mall

ZANESVILLE , OH – Christmas has come and gone but people were out snagging some post holiday deals Tuesday.

Many countries like Britain, New Zealand, and Canada call December 26th Boxing Day. It is another gift-giving holiday that originated in Britain during the Victorian Era. Lots of people received gift cards as presents and were seizing the opportunity to use them.

“Some of my presents included gift cards to Starbucks, TJ Maxx and American Eagle,” a shopper named Zoe Dodson said. “I’m just trying to use those up on some great deals.”

Another reason people were out at the Colony Square Mall was to make some returns.

“I actually went up to Dunhams and they were great,” Jay Potts, another shopper, said. “We just started to do our returns but it’s been really easy to return things so far.”

Shoppers also said they could still feel some Christmas spirit as they perused the mall.
