Power Outages For Friday

 American Electric Power continues to make progress in getting its customers back up and running after strong storms moved through the area. As of 9:45 p.m. Thursday the company reports they’ve been able to restore power to 112,000 of the 152,000 that were without power.

Statewide there are still over 40,000 in the dark. Here is a break down of where we’re at so far. 

Muskingum County: 146

Coshocton County: 406

Licking County: 330

Perry County: 1,384

Morgan County: 1,062

Fairfield County: 255

AEP estimates that Coshocton County customers should have power by 8 p.m. Saturday. The Lancaster area should be back online by midnight Friday. The Zanesville area is expected to have power restored by noon Friday. Newark should have power by 11p.m. Friday. The Crooksville area is looking for restoration by 11 p.m. Saturday, while McConnelsville should have power by noon on Saturday.
