The Electrics came into Ankrum Gymnasium all fired up for their first victory of the year, taking the first set in enemy territory from West Muskingum. The Tornadoes recovered quickly, thanks to a combined 27 kills from Dylana and Dakota McKenzie. MacKenzie Clayton chipped in 14 kills for Philo, but couldn’t prevent West M from staying a perfect 4-0 in MVL play.

The Panthers hand the Muskies their first league loss with a straight set victory in the Fish Tank. Maysville’s Karen Sidwell leading the way for the Panthers, doing a little bit of everything in the victory, notching 12 kills, a block, and seven digs. Erin Shade the standout for John Glenn, tallying 15 digs, along with five kills and a block. Maysville improves to 2-1 in the MVL.

Muskies take a thriller in the Rec Center for their fourth win of the year. A close match all the way, with McKenzie Smith and Hannah Rose making a huge impact for Muskingum, combining for 15 kills.
