Presidential Candidate Gov. John Kasich Campaigning in Ohio

 Ohio Ohio Governor and GOP Presidential Candidate John Kasich is campaigning in the Buckeye State leading up to Tuesday’s primary and he’s getting support in the Y-City.

Supporters gathered as they prepare to take Gov. Kasich’s campaign to several Zanesville neighborhoods early Saturday morning. Among those campaigning for Gov. Kasich is Ohio State Senator, Troy Balderson.

"I’m here supporting Gov. Kasich and there are some great support here in Muskingum county that is also supporting Gov. Kasich," said Balderson.

Commissioner Cindy Cameron said it’s important to get her home-town to support Gov. Kasich.

"Ohio is a big state for Gov. Kasich and I think it’s important, this is my home town and it’s important to me. I think they wanted to touch bases with residents of Muskingum county to get the support for Gov. Kasich for the primary on Tuesday." said Cameron.

In order to stop Donald Trump, Senater Marco Rubio’s campaign is telling its supporters in Ohio to vote for Gov. Kasich. Senator Balderson said he would tell Rubio’s supporters to do the same.

"I would encourage them follow what mark Rubio has said. To follow and vote for and support Gov. Kasich. Again it comes back to Gov. Kasich conversation, his conversation through this whole process. It’s never been an up and down it’s been consistent his message has been on and he has the results," said Balderson.

Gov. Kasich is campaigning across Ohio all weekend in the efforts to win his home state Tuesday.

Other presidential hopefuls join Kasich in Ohio hoping to garner votes before Tuesday. Clinton, Sanders And Trump will all make appearances in the swing state this weekend.
