Princess Blessings
The event will take place from 10am to 2pm at the Salvation Army. Doors will be open to girls who are looking for dresses for this year.
Right now they have a decent stock, but Programs Director, Dustin Redmond, said that they are still accepting donations.
“Right now we have about 150 dresses, but we are accepting any donations from people who have dresses that they don’t want anymore. The dresses will be put to good use to kids and teens that need prom dresses this year,” said Redmond.
He asks that if you do donate, that if you could please clean the dress before dropping it off at the Salvation Army.
“It’s a great feeling to know we can open up our building and help the community out. It’s for kids in school who maybe can’t afford to go to the store and buy an expensive prom dress. They can come here and find the prom dress of their dreams,” said Redmond.
Redmond said that the Salvation Army is very thankful of the help and support of its volunteers that are helping put the event together this year.
