Prominent Zanesville Attorney Dies

A well-known Zanesville attorney has died. James Stubbins was associated with several Zanesville Professional Firms, most recently Stubbins, Watson & Bryan. The day after he was sworn in as a Lawyer in 1943 he was on a train to Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He served in the Army as a Parachutist and rose to the rank of Captain and also served during the Korean Conflict as an Attorney in the Pentagon. He also was active on many boards in the Zanesville area. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday February 25th at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home in Zanesville and internment will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
