Purse Snatching Suspect Sentenced

A Zanesville man was sentenced Monday in connection with a purse snatching incident at a local grocery store that left two women hurt.
 

25-year-old Frank Mihelich Jr. appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court where he was sentenced by Judge Mark Fleegle to three years in prison on a robbery charge.
 

Police say on January 11th, mihelich stole a 64-year-old woman’s purse. She recieved minor injuries as did a 37-year-old woman who tried to help the victim catch the suspect.
 

In a seperate case, Mihelich was also sentenced to 12 months in prison on charges of theft and misuse of a credit card from incidents that took place in August of last year..
