Reba M. Freiermuth (October 26, 1920 – March 24, 2010)

Reba M. Freiermuth , 89 of Zanesville , OH died 12:10 AM Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice Zanesville.

She was born Tuesday, October 26, 1920 in Zanesville OH the daughter of Edgar and Hilda M.(Grossman) Risen.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, a homemaker and was employed as a telephone operator during WWII. Reba enjoyed spending time with her family.

Reba is survived by one son: Michael (Sandy) Freiermuth of Williamstown, KY; three daughters: Paula (Tim) Mattingly of Zanesville, Anne McMillan of Columbus and Jan (Ron) Hermen of Zanesville; ten grandchildren: Jason (Brenda) Freiermuth, Damien (Donna) Freiermuth, Jennifer (Sean) Tierney, Kelley (Justin) Ewart, Sarah (Dustin) Weber, Matt Mattingly, Kacy (Michael) Slee, Andrew McMillan, Brad (Kelli) Hermen and Lindsay Hermen; 13 great grandchildren. Preceded in death in addition to her parents were her husband Paul R. Freiermuth who died July 16, 2007 and a brother Ray Risen.

Friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00pm, Friday March 26, 2010 at The Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue with a Christian Vigil Service at 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM Saturday, March 27, 2010 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 925 East Main Street with Fr. Martin Ralko as celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital or to the Genesis Morrison House Hospice in Reba’s name.
