Rebecca “Becky” Jewell

Rebecca “Becky” Jewell, 70, of Zanesville, passed away on Saturday June 20, 2026 at Genesis Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on April 22, 1956 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Quinn) Butler. She was a lifelong member of the Rolling Plains Methodist Church and recently was attending Zanesville Neighborhood Church. She was a member of the Pieceable Quilters Guild. She volunteered at Rolling Plains Church, Genesis Hospital Gift Shop, and was a poll worker on Election Day. She was also an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.
She is survived by one son Nicholas (Brittany) Jewell. One daughter Katelyn Jewell. One brother Greg (Connie) Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother Joseph Butler.
Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Thursday June 25, 2026 with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage with Pastor Geoff Geyer officiating.
