Receive an Art Print With Donation to Red Kettle Campaign

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign just got a little more creative when you donate five dollars or more.

This is the Salvation Army’s biggest fundraiser of the year with all the money going back to the community. Now, with a donation of five dollars you receive a print by a local artist. Local artist, Mary Ann Bucci, has prints of the community of churches in Zanesville and said she hopes this is could be an incentive for people to help out and donate.

“The Salvation Army, a couple years ago, asked an artist friend of ours, Ron Apperson, if he would use one of his prints. And we provided the 500 prints for them to give out with every five dollar donation. So, then this year they asked if I would give some of mine. So I’m using the churches print,” she said.

Mary Ann’s husband, Ron Bucci, said that with the Red Kettle Campaign this puts people in the spirit of giving.

“That’s what this is all about is giving. You really can’t help yourself when you stop and help somebody else. And that’s what we’ve tried to do all our life. Just try to give back a little bit, for all the people who have given so much to us over the years,” Ron said.

If you would like to donate, the Red Kettles will be at several stores throughout Zanesville.
