Reggie Martin

Reginald “Reggie” Z. Martin age 57, of Caldwell, OH passed away suddenly at OhioHealth Southeastern Med in Cambridge, OH. He was born December 15, 1967 in Marietta, OH son of the late Zaile Gaylord and Virginia “Ellen” Crum Martin.

He was employed at the former Mahle Manufacturing Plant in Caldwell and most recently was employed at AMG Vanadium in Cambridge. Reggie had a deep-rooted passion for farming, finding joy in the rhythm of the land and the company of his cherished cattle. He will be remembered as a hard worker and wonderful husband, father, uncle, and great-uncle.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Stephen Gaylord Martin.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Lori Ann Vannoy Martin, whom he married March 18, 1995; two children Montana (Austin) Lee and Kenneth Martin all of Caldwell, OH; sister Valerie (Ronald) Blair of Lower Salem, OH; sisters-in-law Barb Martin, Connie (Mike) Valentine of Belpre, OH, and Donna ( Donald) Robinson of Belpre, OH; Kenneth’s dog Buddy that Reggie adopted. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, March 14, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Evangelist John Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Crum Ridge Cemetery.
