Relieve Stress at Church’s Labyrinth
There’s a new reason to visit Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Zanesville.
The church has recently created a labyrinth, which is a circular-shaped walking path. Designer Bill Miska said the labyrinth serves as a place for meditation and prayer.
"Some are inspired to find possible solutions to their problems," said Miska. "Others have found it to be a way to heal spiritually, physically and emotionally."
Floyd Sours is organizing a benefit concert at the church. He said the Rich Simcox Big Band Sound will perform, and proceeds will be used to purchase something special.
"It’s a restful thing, and people come here to meditate and pray," said Sours. "A bench would be a place for them to sit back, relax and think things over."
The performance will take place on September 25th at 7 PM at Trinity United Presbyterian Church. For more information, you can call (740) 452-8482.
