Reports of one shot fired at Indian Mound Mall

HEATH, Ohio – There was a report of a single shot fired this afternoon at a mall in heath.

Heath Police and the Licking County Sheriff Deputies responded to Indian Mound Mall around 2:00 today, after reports of a shot fired in a bathroom.

Police checked the mall and surrounding areas.

Detective Craig Black says the person who fired the shot fled the scene and is possibly injured. No other injuries were reported.

The incident is under investigation.
