Reward Offered In Armed Robberies
The Licking County Crime Stoppers group is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in two armed robberies. The first one happened on February 13th around 12:20 in the morning at the Duke Gas Station on Hazelton Etna Road. Sheriff’s Deputies say a man walked into the store and pulled out a knife and made off with an undetermined amount of cash. Later that day a man entered the Duke Station on North 21st Street near Jefferson Street in Newark, pointed a gun at an employee and fled with an undisclosed amount of money. Detectives believe the same man is responsible for both robberies. Crime Stoppers is offering up to 1000 dollars for information that leads to an arrest.
