REX Donates to Harrison Twp. Fire Dept.

The Rockies Express Pipeline is donating a 20′ Connex storage unit to the Harrison Township Fire Department.

The Connex is from the compressor station and is valued at $4,000

"It is going to come in handy, store our carnival items for our annual fundraiser we put on every year.  We have stuff scattered throughout the township every year, this will be a central location for everything so when we go to look for something we know where it is at," says Joseph Wilson, the Harrison Township Fire Chief.

Rockies Express spokesman, Allen Fore, says he appreciates the hard work first responders provide to Muskingum County and the state of Ohio. In addition to the Connex, Rockies Express has donated repair costs for a new Blue Rock Creek Bridge and pipe to local schools.  All combined to value nearly $200,000.
