Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Blue Moon Restaurant

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Muskingum County is now home to a new restaurant.
The Blue Moon restaurant has officially opened its doors to the public. Tuesday they celebrated their opening day with a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring city officials. Co-owner Samantha Campbell described Blue Moon as an American restaurant with a French influence.
“We’re very excited to open,” Campbell said. “We’re the only sit down restaurant on this end of town. So we’re hoping this makes it easier for people to get out, eat, and they don’t have to travel clear cross town.”
Blue Moon restaurant is located at 130 Sunrise Center and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Blue Moon has something on the menu for everyone from burgers, soups, salads to crepes. They even offer daily specials. Campbell said they strategically chose the Sunrise Center as the location for their restaurant.
“There’s not a lot of business out here. I know everybody is kind of wanting to bring the area back,” Campbell said.
Blue Moon is open from 8:00 a.m to 8 p.m Monday thru Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 8 p.m.
