Richard Brown

Richard “Dick” Lee Brown, went to be with the Lord on Monday August 17th, 2026, at Adams Lane Care Center in Zanesville while holding the hand of his wife of 51 years, Bonnie.
Dick was born December 22, 1942, in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late Marion Herbert Brown and Bernice Louise (Hagen) Brown.
He was a born-again Christian, who valued his faith. Dick’s favorite pass times included watching The Andy Griffith Show, Bonanza, and Wrestling.
On August 30th, 1974, he married his high school sweetheart, Bonnie Diane (Lincicome) Brown, who he leaves to cherish his memory.
In addition to his wife Bonnie, he leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Though we mourn that he is no longer here with us, we find comfort in knowing that in addition to his parents, he is reunited with daughter, Tina Lee Brown. As well as brothers, Robert M., Minor H., Larry J., Clyde D., and Ronnie E. Brown; sisters, Sue E. Brown and Marilyn Irvin.
The family would like to thank Genesis Hospice for their care.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dick’s memory to Grace United Methodist Church at 516 Shinnick Street in Zanesville.
No services will be observed at this time. Delong Baker-Lanning Funeral Home is serving the family.
