Richard Garbrandt

Richard D. Garbrandt III, passed away on October 3, 2026. He was born on September 25, 1984.

Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Cassie Cross; his paternal and fraternal grandparents.

He is survived by his parents, Cheri L. Maxwell and Richard Garbrandt II; siblings, Tonya Russell, Gale Harlow, Melinda Schlabach, Charlene Jin, Eric Garbrandt, and Brandon Garbrandt; uncle, Butch (Crystal) Maxwell; aunt, Brenda (Joe) Eckstine; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as many other friends and family members who will cherish his memory.

Richard was a very talented diesel mechanic and an avid fisherman. He enjoyed working on anything he could get his hands on and was truly a jack of all trades. His skills, willingness to help, and love for working with his hands will be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Per Richard’s wishes, cremation has been chosen. A celebration of his life and burial of his remains will take place at a later date at Long View Cemetery.
