Richard H. Adams, 87 of Zanesville died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, June 23, 2015 at the residence.
He was born on July 24, 1927 in Zanesville, OH the son of Charles R. Adams and Margaret (Wiser) Adams.
Richard was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, an Air Force Veteran and retired from McGraw Edison after 45 years of service. He was also an avid NASCAR & Stock Car fan.
He is survived by his children: James (Cindy) Adams of South Zanesville and Susie (Chuck) Hina of Roseville, step-son: Robert Gebhart of Roseville; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a sister, Margie (Dallas) Moyer; two brothers, Lloyd (Faye) Adams and Ronnie Adams and several nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by Parents, his wife Patricia Ann (White) Adams, a daughter Tammy Adams, an infant son, three brothers, Ned, Dave & Larry and two sisters, Shirley & Jane, and the mother of his children, Marilyn Adams.
Friends may call 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home and from 10am to 11am Friday at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Matzke officiating. Burial with Military Honors will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
