Richard M. Martin (January 20, 2014 – March 24, 2014)

Richard M. Martin, 88 of Roseville, passed away March, 24, 2014 at 5:20 PM at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

Richard was born January 20, 1926 in Cumberland, the son of the late Alva and Mary L. (Fox) Martin; he retired in 1984 after 21 years working for Hennes Trucking Company. He was a member of the Cumberland United Methodist Church.

Richard is survived by his three sons Richard T. (Amy) Martin of Butler, PA, James ‘Daniel’ (Tammy) Martin of Vermilion, OH and George (Joyce) Martin of Granville; his ½ brothers Marion Martin, Robert A. Martin, James Martin, Joe Martin, Raymond Martin, and Herbert Walters also; his ½ sisters Mary Fischer, Emma Woodie, Norma Griffin, Ruth Jenson, Betty Peters and his grandchildren Michael, Nicole, Andy, and Sarah.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his wife Vera D. Martin who passed away September 14, 2010; his brothers, G. Robert Martin, his sister, Dorothy Miller, his ½ brother Rubin Walters, his sister Dorothy Miller and his ½ sisters Judy Lyons and Dorothy Walters Aubrey.

Visitations will be 6 to 8 pm Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be at 11 am Saturday. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Fairview Church Cemetery.
