Road Work to Start the New Week

Road construction will be taking place throughout Muskingum County on Monday, April 24.

The Ohio Department of Transportation said that you can expect to see flaggers on Licking Road between 7AM and 5PM. This is part of the Interstate 70 construction that runs through Zanesville. The project will reconstruct I-70 through Zanesville and resurface the roadway between US 40 and SR 93.

The Muskingum County Engineer’s Office will work on two roadways Monday and Tuesday of this week between the hours of 8AM and 3PM for culvert replacements. Norfield Road will be closed at various locations between Lodge Road and New Hope Road.

Granny’s Knob Road will be closed at various locations between SR 83 and the Guernsey County Line.
