Robbery Suspect Under Arrest

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office nabs their suspect in a May pharmacy robbery.

After talking to witnesses and conducting several interviews, 26-year-old Jason Tewksbary of Thornville, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Monday.

During an interview with detectives the man admitted to taking part in a May 28 robbery at the CVS pharmacy on East Broad Street in Pataskala.

During that incident officials report that Tewksbary handed a note to the female behind the counter demanding pain killers and saying he had a gun.

Witnesses at the scene also reported seeing a gun in the suspect’s hand.

This case remains under investigation and will be presented to the Grand Jury, June 28.
