Robert “Bobby” G. Russell

Robert “Bobby” G. Russell, 65 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Genesis Hospital on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Bobby was born on March 31, 1960, in Columbus. He is the son of Patricia (Williams) Fishell and the late Robert Russell. Bobby enjoyed being on the road and worked as a truck driver for his entire life. He was a simple man who loved the outdoors, and you could always find him sitting outside on his porch swing.

Bobby is survived by his three children, Mike Russell, Deanile Russell, Brian (Ashley) Russell; his grandchildren, Shelby, Brittany, Jeremy, Hayden, Mariah, Peyton, Waylon; his fiancé, Liz Starkey; his four sisters, Debbie (Gary), Pam (Dave), Jeanette, and Angie; as well as several nieces, nephews including Matthew, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his father, Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Sheila (Conley) Russell, whom he married in 1988, and who passed away in August of 2015; as well as his son, Larry Conley, who passed away in 2008.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12 pm to 1 pm on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.
