Robert Casto

Robert L. Casto, 86, of Norwich, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.
He was born on April 9, 1940, in Buckhannon, West Virginia, to Mr. Casto and Ruth (McWhorter) Casto. Bob was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as a truck driver for many years.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Lorena Casto; stepchildren, Toni James, Franklin Lee Asher, and Mitchell Todd Asher; step grandchildren, Alexandra James, Zachariah James, and Ashlee Asher; several friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Steve Casto and Charles “Chuck” Casto.
A dignified cremation has been entrusted to DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home.
