Robert L. “Bob” Henning (June 24, 1934 – May 31, 2012)

Robert Lee “Bob” Henning, 77 of Crooksville passed away Thursday May 31, 2012 at the Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University. He was born in Crooksville a son of the late LeRoy Clifford and Gladys Welch Henning. Bob earned a Masters Degree in Education from Ohio University. He was retired after 35 years as a school teacher for Crooksville and Grover Cleveland school in Zanesville. He was a member of the Peerless Lodge #591 and American Legion Crooksville. He loved to travel spending winters in Puerto Rico and had visited 49 states. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Bob is survived by one sister Donna Willison of Crooksville; nieces and nephews Diane (Brent) Thomas of Crooksville, Susie Willison of Crooksville and Rick Willison of Columbus; two great nieces Kali (Brandon) Groves and Heather (Ray) Miller all of Crooksville; 5 great- great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 on Sunday June 3, 2012 with Masonic Services at 8pm at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 207 BURLEY ST. CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services will be 11am Monday June 4, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Marilyn Murphree officiating. Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery.
